Pendulum Information courtesy of
Coventina
Jewels
Pendulums have been used throughout history as a
method of divination.
Historical figures such as Albert Einstein, Leonardo
Da Vinci, Robert Boyce, Charles Richet, and U.S,
General Patton were known to use “dowsing”.
Albert Einstein believed that the unexplainable
movement of pendulums and dowsing rods were made
possible by electro magnetic fields within the
Earth. Scientific research continues to validate
this and goes so far as to say that electromagnetic
energy radiates from everything on this planet and
beyond.
What makes the pendulum move? Many believe the
pendulum moves by means of a process called an
ideomotor response. When we are thinking about a
question we have asked the pendulum, tiny muscles in
the fingertips connected to the motor center of the
brain associated with unconscious thought s are
activated and we see the movement. With regular
practice, this can become very developed.
Metaphysically speaking, many believe that our
angels, guides, God, and even our ego are able to
affect the pendulum movement. It’s important to go
with what resonates with your own comfort level.
To use a pendulum, center yourself, ask that your
ego is not involved in the question’s outcome, and
hold the pendulum as still as possible from the
fingertips, preferably with the elbow stabilized on
a table or knee until you are comfortable with using
it and are conscious of not physically moving the
pendulum. Ask the pendulum to show you what a “yes”
is, and what a “no” is. Usually, a yes movement is
North-South, and a “no” response, move East –West,
or horizontal. Always start with easy yes or no
question s that you may already know the answer to
get familiar with the process.
Ask your question, keeping in mind that the answer
is valid only in this moment and subject to change
at any time depending on choices you make mentally
or physically.
